WinXP - How-to disable Thumbs.db?

Thumbs.db are system cache files which contain image thumbnails of current folder. These files may be deleted, WinXP will create them again by default. BTW There is lot of tools to view content of Thumbs.db available on the net.

Disable Thumbs.db

1. Start -> Run -> Control panel -> Folder options -> View tab
   
2. Uncheck "Do not cache thumbnails" option.
   
3. Click OK
   

Smazání všech již existujících Thumbs.db

1. Start -> Search for "Thumbs.db" ...
   
2. When finished, select all "Thumbs.db" and delete them (DEL)
